Portfolios

The International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation Guidelines (IPEV) set out recommendations for valuing investments. Asset managers are encouraged to report regularly, which helps to provide transparency for investors. Our team has advised on many portfolio valuations and has the expertise to assist.

Legislative

In some circumstances, UK law requires an independent third-party valuer to undertake a valuation of shares. For example, under the Companies Act (2006), when a public company issues shares for non-cash consideration.
