Case study

Multinational food manufacturer
We advised a large EU-based group on their roadmap to complying with CSRD in Europe. We worked with key internal and external stakeholders to identify the business’ key sustainability impacts, risks and opportunities throughout its value chain. We then provided them with a double materiality assessment and a roadmap to compliance with CSRD. Our roadmap focused on guiding the business to improve their sustainability data and processes.

Climate and sustainability reporting services

The size and jurisdictions of your operations determine your regulatory climate and sustainability reporting requirements. We can support you to comply with your regulatory reporting and help you to prepare for changes in regulation that may affect your business.

We can support the preparation of disclosures under the following regulations:

  • International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)
  • Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR)
  • Climate-related Disclosure Regulations (UK-adopted TCFD)
  • Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)

We can also assist you in writing your company’s annual sustainability report under frameworks such as The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).

Greenhouse gas emissions reporting

A key part of all sustainability reporting lies in greenhouse gas emissions reporting. We adopt a data-driven approach which focuses on understanding the emissions in your business and ensuring that the data driving your reporting is robust and reliable.

We work closely with your team to develop a thorough understanding of your emissions profile, including your upstream and downstream (scope 3) emissions. We then perform our calculations using both your internal data, and estimations where required. Along with our report to you, we provide you with recommendations to improve your GHG data accuracy going forward.

International reporting regulations

For multijurisdictional groups of companies, we help you understand your reporting requirements both in the UK and overseas. As a member firm of Moore Global, we leverage the support of the network and provide you with regulatory expertise in the locations where you have operations.

Sustainability and ESG assurance services

It is becoming increasingly important for companies to obtain assurance over their sustainability data and reporting in order to provide greater transparency and trust to stakeholders.

We can provide you with assurance over your sustainability data and reporting and can also help you enhance it by pinpointing areas of development and improvement. We provide assurance reports under ISAE 3000 and ISSA 5000. Our risk-based approach means you get a robust assurance report, tailored to respond to the risks specific to your business and industry.
