Our fully comprehensive service to complete the evaluation of capital allowances includes:

  • Examine all relevant legal, contractual and construction documentation to enable us to progress claims in accordance with HM Revenue and Customs requirements.
  • Carry out detailed property inspections, where necessary, to identify all relevant fixtures, plant and machinery, Structures and Buildings Allowances, repairs and maintenance and Land Remediation, etc., which are eligible for tax relief.
  • Prepare Statements of Qualifying Expenditure that meet the criteria of the Capital Allowances Act and other relevant legislation, and that withstand the scrutiny of HM Revenue and Customs.
  • Analyse all expenditure into the relevant financial periods and allocate all qualifying expenditure into the relevant pools.
  • Where applicable, to carry out any relevant negotiations with HM Revenue and Customs, in order to agree Capital Allowances claims to their maximum benefit.
  • If applicable, should the property be marketed for sale, we will assist with any capital allowances issues and prepare and oversee the completion by Seller and Buyer of the relevant Election under s198 CAA 2001.
  • Provide advice in respect of Land Remediation Relief.
