James Davenport is a general practice partner, supporting owner-managed businesses across the full suite of accounting, tax and advisory services delivered by the firm.

With a broad range of accounting knowledge and experience, he is a solution finder, able to adapt and assist clients in navigating the various opportunities and challenges they face across changes in the regulatory landscape and the rise in the cost of living. With the success of his clients his number one priority, James collaborates with the firm’s specialists and draws on the wider Moore network to further help them grow their business sustainably, extract value efficiently and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Working with a variety of entrepreneurial clients across a range of sectors, including manufacturing and construction, leisure, hospitality and travel, and professional firms, James sees advising in this space as his vocation. He shares the same passion for the business as the entrepreneurs that own them.

ICAEW qualified, James is a governor at his childhood primary school and leads the firm’s partnership with the King’s College Entrepreneurship Institute.
