Our St Albans office has been supporting businesses, charities and private clients across Hertfordshire and the surrounding region to achieve their ambitions for more than 50 years.
With over 150 people and nine partners, while we’re large enough to offer specialist expertise across virtually every area of accountancy and business advisory, we’re small enough to provide the personal service and accessibility clients often struggle to find in larger firms. Many of our longest-standing clients first approached us with a single challenge. Today, they rely on us for a broad range of advice because they know we understand their goals, their business and the opportunities and challenges they face.
We support everyone from private individuals and owner-managed businesses through to organisations with turnovers exceeding £300 million. Whatever stage they’re at, our clients benefit from a single point of contact backed by specialists in audit, tax, corporate finance, outsourced finance, legal services, HR, cyber security and more.
In addition to our services to local individuals, entrepreneurs and their businesses, we’re also well known for our expertise in the hospitality & leisure and nonprofit sectors, where our specialist teams understand the unique challenges organisations face.
We’re deeply embedded in the local business community, running various networking initiatives including St Albans Last Tuesday (SALT), the St Albans Business Women’s Group and our Entrepreneurs Club, while maintaining strong links with the local Chambers of Commerce and the wider business network across the region.

Tax Club
Tax Club is a specialist forum aimed at professional advisers who do not have their own specialist tax team, including solicitors, bankers, IFAs, finance directors and small sole practitioner accountants.
It helps professionals stay up to date with current tax rules and regulations so that they can help their clients identify tax issues that may be a barrier to their plans.
Each meeting lasts for approximately 90 minutes, and we host 3 face to face meetings per year.

SALT corporate finance networking
SALT (St Albans Last Tuesday) is an informal lunchtime networking event hosted on the last Tuesday of every other month.
This extremely popular event is aimed at the professional corporate finance community including bankers, lawyers and accountants. SALT brings together like minded people to discuss all things corporate finance over a glass of wine and canapés.

Entrepreneurs’ Club
Entrepreneurs’ Club offers a supportive and nurturing environment where like-minded individuals come together to share experiences, insights, and knowledge and seek guidance from peers in a confidential setting. We have designed this club in recognition of the unique challenges and opportunities that come with being an entrepreneur.
As a member of our Entrepreneurs’ Club, you will have the opportunity to participate in four breakfast meetings throughout the year, led by our Partner, Chris Godsave, a qualified business strategy facilitator. Each meeting will focus on a timely topic pertinent to the entrepreneurial world. Members will have the opportunity to engage in discussions and share their ideas and viewpoints.
