Yinka Tomori

Yinka Tomori has been providing financial and related advisory services to the nonprofit sector for over 25 years. For many of those years, he worked with one of the leading accounting firms in the sector where he provided audit and advisory services to a wide range of charities including welfare, sports, education, professional membership and religious organisations.

Since 2014, Yinka’s work with the nonprofit sector has spanned strategic and financial reviews, internal audits, implementing new financial systems, setting up key financial and governance policies and effective reporting. For some time, he was interim Director of Finance at the Royal Society for Blind Children where he set up a business subsidiary and managed its reorganisation and a merger. He continues to support larger charities with preparation for special and annual statutory audits. He also acts as an independent examiner to several smaller charities, some of which rely on him for statutory compliance.

Yinka is a chartered accountant and holds the ICAEW’s Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) awarded by Bayes Business School.

Outside work, Yinka is a governor at the Petchey Academy in Hackney and a trustee at his local church, City Praise Centre.
