Anjali Kothari is Head of Education in our dedicated schools sector and a senior partner in our nonprofit group. She has over 25 years’ experience in the schools and the charity sector, with over 20 years at Moore Kingston Smith.

Her experience includes working with a variety of charities, helping them to navigate a myriad of regulations as well as independent schools and academies encompassing international and national complex groups. She also looks after a variety of non-charity clients, which range from research institutes to grant -making charities.

Her expertise includes dealing with IFRS and FRS regulatory environment as well as tax and VAT matters, which often need translating into everyday language.

Anjali provides training to trustee boards and speaks at and leads seminars and sessions for key groups, such as ISBA. She is involved with the main sector groups from the ICAEW Technical Committee, is a member of the CLA as well as chairing forums such as the ICAEW Academies Forum. Her experience extends to being a governor of a large independent prep school in North-West London.
