Academy Trust Handbook 2023 – What’s new?
The Education & Skills Funding Agency has just released the next update to the Academy Trust Handbook, its guide for academy members, trustees, accounting officers, chief financial officers and auditors.
So, what’s new in 2023? Changes can be found in the following areas:
- Part one: Roles and responsibilities
- Part two: Main financial requirements
- Part five: Delegated Authorities
- Part six: The regulator and intervention
The updated handbook won’t come into effect until 1 September 2023 for the 23/24 Academy year, but we wanted to give you a heads up before the start of your financial year. Contact us for more information or guidance.
