In Q2 2023, Moore Kingston Smith’s deal tracker recorded 104 UK media and marketing services deals. Key points to note
- Q2 2023 had a 17% drop on the 126 transactions we reported in quarter one, but only two less than the 106 reported for the comparative period in 2022.
- Creative was the most sought after category by acquirers.
- Private equity interest and involvement in the sector remains high, so even though the M&A market has softened slightly, our outlook for M&A in the sector as a whole remains positive.
