Moore Kingston Smith Annual Survey 2022 – highlights

23 February 2023 / Insight posted in Article

We were thrilled to be able to return to an in-person event for our highly anticipated Annual Survey, held at the prestigious BAFTA.

Our seminar covered the key findings of the survey, where Ian Graham, Media Partner at Moore Kingston Smith, reviewed the KPIs and trends within the marketing services sector. Ian reported that agencies were anticipating a great set of results for 2022, off the back of a strong 2021, with a surprisingly strong outlook for 2023.

Following the results, Esther Carder, Media Partner at Moore Kingston Smith, was joined by our panel members Ben Bilboul, previously MD at Accenture Song and Founder and CEO of Karmarama, and James Murphy, Founder and CEO of New Commercial Arts. The panel discussed previous experiences of setting up an agency during a recession and Covid, along with the current disruptions to the marketing services sector, and what needs to be done in order for the industry to maintain its competitive edge.

As previously publicised when tickets went on sale, all proceeds were donated to our current charity partner Mind, a charity that focuses on fighting mental health. We are thrilled to inform you that the total amount raised came to just over £7,000!

We are also delighted to share our highlights video from the event. It was great to be back in a room full of people and have the chance to catch up afterwards over some food and drinks – we hope to see you all again at BAFTA for our 2023 survey on Wednesday 29 November!
