New findings on the impact of coronavirus on the charity sector – Coronavirus impact survey results released

Over 500 charities recently took part in a survey on the impact the coronavirus is having on their organisations.

The survey was run by Institute of Fundraising in partnership with the Charity Finance Group and National Council for Voluntary Organisations and key findings include:

  • Charities are reporting a projected loss of 48% to their voluntary income, and a third wiped off from their total income
  • 52% of charities have reduced existing or previous levels of service, with a further 12% intending to in the future.
