Kingston Smith wins Inspiring Hertfordshire Award for Best Use of Tech

Kingston Smith is delighted to win Best Use of Technology in the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards 2019. Organised by the Herts Chamber, the award recognises the top 20 accountancy firm’s innovative use of technology to improve client service.

Kingston Smith has been using data analytics for years, putting the firm significantly ahead of the crowd. Externally, the firm’s award-winning KS Cohere analyses huge disparate data sets in real time as well as automating much of the audit process. Clients also benefit from Kingston Smith’s own secure cloud-accounting platform that connects directly to such apps Xero and QuickBooks. Internally, partners use a personalised ‘dashboard’ to track all leads and client relationships.

Nick Winters, partner at Kingston Smith’s St Albans office, said: “I’m really pleased that we’ve won this Best Use of Technology award as it reinforces our growing reputation for being tech-savvy business advisers who move with the times. Our audit and accounting platforms save hundreds of man hours in data crunching, which means we can spend that time advising our clients on their best course of action.”
