The Dunhill Medical Trust Capability Development Programme – apply now!

20 June 2023 / Insight posted in Article

The Dunhill Medical Trust is relaunching its Capability Development Programme for supporting community organisations. The programme will be delivered by Moore Kingston Smith Nonprofit Advisory and the University of Birmingham School of Social Policy who will work with up to eight charities over a period of three years focusing on:

  • impact management
  • financial sustainability
  • efficiency
  • research-readiness
  • governance
  • leadership
  • people and culture
  • fundraising/income generation strategy
  • risk and operational strategy

The Trust believes that if community organisations are to take their rightful place at the heart of an improved system of health and social care for older people, it needs to invest in ensuring that they have the capacity, research literacy, supportive networks and access to a robust evidence base to do so.

If you want your charity to increase its potential for long-term sustainability, and to be better equipped to make more evidence-based decisions in the development of its strategic direction and operational activity, then do consider applying.

The deadline for submission is 28 July 2023 and the programme commences in October 2023. Further details can be found on the Dunhill Medical Trust website.
